**About our client**:
Our client is a successful Not for Profit Employment Services provider that offers job search support to disadvantaged jobseekers and people with a disability. Through the delivery of several Federal and State Government funded programs, this values-based organisation is committed to providing quality and sustainable employment outcomes to its clients, as well as work life balance and a wonderful culture for its staff.

**About the role**:
As an Employment Consultant, you will form part of a team that get a real buzz out of helping people develop and achieve their end goal of gaining further skills and sustainable employment.

You will manage and mentor your own caseload of jobseekers, assisting them to overcome various barriers that have been preventing them from gaining employment, and working with local employers to find innovative ways to support your clients into work.

You will be professional and able to work within procedural guidelines, using a database to log detailed notes, and create progress reports on each client. In addition, you will be required to source job opportunities for your clients within the local community through business development activities and networking. The role is targeted and has KPIs around sustainable job placements that meet clients’ needs and expectations.

These positions are offered on a full-time basis and are located across the Perth South region in Armadale, Fremantle, Mandurah and Cannington.

**To be successful you should have**:

- Demonstrated experience working within a customer service, target driven environment
- The ability to mentor and coach jobseekers through the job search process
- Demonstrated qualities of resilience, empathy, integrity and compassion
- A results and outcomes focused approach and the ability to work to KPIs and targets
- Excellent time management and organisational ability
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Any experience working within the employment services sector, within Jobactive, Workforce Australia, TtW or Disability Employment Services will be highly regarded but not essential
- An insight and understanding into the significant barriers facing people living with a disability and the long-term unemployed
- Excellent networking skills and be willing to conduct business development activities with local business and community organisations
- The ability to obtain a clear check police and working with children’s check
