The Home Loan Retention Team have an exciting opportunity to join our fast paced and dynamic team as a Customer Options Specialist.

In the Retention Team we strive to make banking easier for our customers. It takes special people to turn this into a reality so you need commitment to deliver top experiences, passion to overcome objections, and a willingness to learn for you to grow and develop. Our focus is on retaining our existing Bankwest Home Loan customer base by providing easy and personalised solutions that our customers can access when and how they want, with options that help them achieve their goals.
You will do this by:
- Holding needs based conversations with our customers, building genuine long-lasting relationships- Providing efficient, accurate and quality solutions across all customer segments- Assisting referred customers who are at risk of attrition in relation to their Housing Loan- Proactively retaining customers through conversations via outbound calling initiatives- Pro-actively maintaining exceptional knowledge of Bankwest’s product range and fee structure- Pro-actively develop and maintain strong knowledge of other competitors products and services whilst considering market factors that influence customer decisions
We’re interested in hearing from people who have:
- The ability to work autonomously and keep up within a fast paced and ever changing environment- A holistic retention approach by identifying the customers overall goals and needs to offer an appropriate solution- Experience and skill set in lending is highly desirable- Sound knowledge of competitor products- Strong negotiating skills- A desire to be part of a high performing team where you will be valued for your effort and result
