**Job Description**:
At Colliers, we’re continuing to invest in our highly regarded Property Research team based in the Melbourne CBD.

This key role will report into the National Director of Research and be responsible for assisting in all aspects of research across the major Melbourne property markets, with a key focus on the office sector.

This role is also responsible for assisting in internal and external presentations to clients, and the promotion of the Colliers profile through marketing and PR activities. Integral to this key role is the ability to ensure collection of high-quality data on relevant sectors and to proactively collaborate with key stakeholders across the Victorian business.

**Some of the Key Responsibilities include**:

- Develop key stakeholder relationships in Melbourne across Leasing, Investments, Real Estate Management, Occupier Services, Advisory and Valuations.
- Pro-actively engage in the production of thought leadership style research, with a focus on (but not limited to) the VIC property markets.
- Manage the quarterly data process for VIC including property market indicators such as rents and yields, as well as comparable sales and leasing evidence and general property information.
- Produce insights and market commentary for both internal and external distribution that covers both the VIC property market and macro-economic backdrop.
- Participate in client presentations as required to support client engagement activity across the Melbourne business.
- Collaborate on consulting opportunities with the National research team or other Colliers’ business lines

**Qualifications**:
Your relevant tertiary qualification will be supported by 3 - 5 years proven experience in a research role - either from a property firm, financial institution, council or government. In particular you will be strong in and enjoy:

- Statistics/econometrics/mathematics
- Formulating opinions and writing commentaries and summaries
- Cultivating internal relationships
- Presenting to groups.
- Working with and analysing data to produce quality insights
- Developing your skills using data visualisation tools and producing high quality dash boarding (desirable but not essential).
- Furthermore, you will be someone who enjoys networking and can demonstrate a drive to get things done, with a service first orientated approach.
