**Job Description**:
We currently have an opportunity for a confident and professional Warehouse Clerk to join our dynamic and customer focused operations based in Laverton North.

The role of the Warehouse Clerk** **is responsible for effectively managing and organising the outbound processing of customer’s products to depots and warehouses across the required zoning. The position exists to ensure that the product is despatched in a timely and cost effective manner.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify, evaluate and develop opportunities to introduce innovative or more efficient methods or processes leading to improvements in customer experience and/or internal efficiency
- Assess customers’ needs effectively and weigh alternative approaches or solutions ensuring the needs of the customer are put first
- Be the primary internal communication point for drivers and carriers and ensure that issues are logged via incident reporting
- Direct drivers and staff to loading areas
- Container scheduling and receipting, including offsite storage facilities if applicable
- Ensuring all records and materials are stored correctly and retrievable on demand

**Qualifications**:
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Previous experience in Logistics/Supply Chain Management across Warehouse & Transport
- Strong service orientation and related skills
- Proven problem solving ability with a solutions orientation
- Results-orientated, proactive and consistent
- Effective as a team player and as an autonomous operator
- Forklift license would be an advantage
