**The Role**

The Women’s Merchandise Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of merchandising strategies to maximise sales and profitability. You will oversee a team of merchandisers and collaborate closely with creative direction, design and development and operations to shape the product assortment, optimise inventory management, and enhance the community experience. To support and lead the team to meet the LSKD targets of the women’s strategy and “go-to-market” calendar.

**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Be the Hungry, Humble Smart; and lead the brand with integrity.
- Collaborate with Creative Direction to understand the LSKD’s product vision and community needs.
- Develop the tactical actions for LSKD’s women's merchandising strategies to drive sales, margin, and inventory turnover.
- Lead the development of seasonal line plans, assortment strategies, and pricing and promotional plans.
- Approve product assortment that reflect the creative direction, community feedback, and market trends.
- Lead assortment planning, SKU optimisation, and product lifecycle management initiatives.
- Oversee inventory planning and management processes to optimise stock levels, minimise excess inventory, and maximise sell-through. Develop inventory targets, replenishment strategies, and allocation plans.
- Develop pricing strategies and promotional plans to drive traffic, conversion, and revenue.
- Monitor competitor pricing and market dynamics to inform pricing decisions and promotional tactics.
- Lead visual merchandising initiatives to enhance the presentation and visibility of products across retail and e-commerce channels. Develop visual merchandising guidelines and standards to ensure consistent brand messaging and storytelling. Collaborate with store planning teams to optimize store layouts and fixtures.
- Analyse sales performance, sell-through rates, and key performance metrics to evaluate merchandising effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct sales forecasting and demand planning to support inventory management and purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, product development, marketing, and operations, to align merchandising strategies with overall business objectives. Provide insights and recommendations to inform product development and marketing initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a team of merchandisers providing guidance, support, and coaching to foster their professional growth and development.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the merchandising team.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing terms, and agreements to ensure optimal value and quality.

**Essential Skills / Experience**
- Success in merchandising leadership roles, preferably in retail apparel
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in retail analytics tools and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to hit deadlines and work that extra mile to get the job done on time
