Tasks include weeding, mowing lawns, pruning, general tidying, keeping the garden and other outdoor areas free of weeds and sweeping concreted areas. Another important part of this role is suggesting and implementing garden improvements to enhance the overall ambiance of the garden and surrounds.

This role provides support to ensure the property is safe and enjoyable for all community members, staff, volunteers and Officers. Attention and adherence to the appropriate protocols and policies is an important part of the role. Safety and well-being of self and others is vital and there is a requirement to identify and report hazards and incidents when they occur.

## Qualifications & Experience Requirements For The Role
- Experience in gardening preferred but not essential
- A reasonable level of fitness is an inherent requirement of this role. Some heavy lifting may be required.

## Mandatory Requirements Of The Role
- Complete The Salvation Army's volunteer registration, training and induction modules and any other training as required
- Integrity Checks will be required for the role.

## Roster & Time Commitment
- Shifts can be one day - up to 3 days 9.30am - 2.30pm On either Monday, Tuesdays, Thursdays or Friday.
- Please advise your availability in your expression of interest.
