HAND IN HAND NSW are currently searching for a compassionate and meticulous Cleaner to become a valued member of our team. As a Cleaner, you will have a pivotal role in upholding a pristine, germ-free, and orderly atmosphere for our esteemed clients. Your duties encompass undertaking general cleaning tasks, guaranteeing adherence to health and safety regulations, and delivering exceptional client care.

To be successful as a cleaner, you should be able to complete assigned tasks within the stipulated period. Ultimately, a top-performing cleaner should be physically fit and able to perform with mínimal supervision.

**Cleaner Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine cleaning duties, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Sanitize and clean restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
- Dispose of waste in designated areas and ensure trash bins are emptied.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas, such as lounge rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns professionally and in a courteous manner.

**Cleaner Requirements**:

- Available to work mornings and evenings, plus weekends, as needed.
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable.
- Possess knowledge of various cleaning products, techniques, and equipment.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Show excellent verbal communication abilities and a high level of customer service skills.
- Possess physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures is required.
- Exceptional time management

**Job Types**: Subcontract, Casual

**Salary**: $23.60 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sydney, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
