We have an opportunity for a trade’s qualified Maintenance Fitter at our new state of the art facility at Greenacre. You will provide a range of maintenance services for the site and responsibilities will include working on breakdowns, planned and preventative maintenance, installations and general maintenance as required.

You must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, understanding and meeting business needs with professionalism and a sense of urgency.

**Key requirements**:
The key to your success will be your ability to work across a high risk manufacturing facility. Your attention to detail and problem solving ability and a ‘can do’ attitude.

**Qualifications**
- Trades qualified fitter, with a restricted electrical ticket (disconnect and reconnect) an advantage but not essential

**Knowledge & Experience**
- 5+ years’ experience as an Maintenance Fitterin a high-speed packaging environment - preferably from a food production/packaging environment or other FMCG background.
- Welding and lathe experience a distinct advantage
- Factory/production background with a high level trouble shooting / fault finding capability.
- Flexibility within very tight time schedules and in accordance with variable workload demands
- Understanding of budgets and the requirements of working in a food processing plant including GMPs and maintenance housekeeping.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 5 years (preferred)
