Maths & English Tutor (Primary to Hsc)

**About Hanwoori Tutoring Centre**:
Hanwoori College is a tutoring centre established in 2012.

We focus on providing 1:1 tuition for Kindy to year 12.

We are located in the Hills area (Dural).

Opening hours: 3:00pm - 8:30pm weekdays; 9:00am - 7:00pm Saturdays
Location: Dural (Hills District
- near Round Corner Shopping Centre)

**Current Vacancies**:

- Maths teachers (Primary school level to HSC General/ 2 Unit/ 3 Unit) *Please indicate if you can teach Standard Mathematics.
- We also look for tutors in Science (Chemistry & Biology), English (highschool to HSC English Advanced), Music (piano, violin, guitar, drum) and language (Japanese/Chinese)

**Tutors’ Requirements**:

- has Christian faith and understand that we are a tutoring centre with Christian philosophy and values.
- Holds university degree(s) or graduates
- Australian school graduates / has good knowledge about Australian curriculum (preferred)
- Minimum 2-3 years teaching experience with a passion for making a difference in student's lives and an encouraging approach.
- Own transport to Dural _(mandatory)_
- Working With Children's Check Clearance number (or willing to complete a WWCC)
- Expected to work 1-3 afternoon/nights or days a week during our opening hours specified above. We try our best to schedule timetables that suit our teachers.
- Fluent spoken and written English skills are essential (Korean speaker preferred)
- This position is only open to citizens and permanent residents of Australia, or those who hold a current working visa.

**What we offer**:

- No need to travel to student's house, teach at our centre in Dural only
- Most teaching is 1:1 environment or no more than 4 students per class
- Opportunity for longer hours work for those teachers who have excellent skills in 2 or more disciplines
- No need to handle student's parents’ inquiries, this is all done for you.
