We represent a prominent international law firm with around 2500 lawyers worldwide making them one of the largest firms in the world. They pride themselves on providing innovative legal solutions to a range of high profile clients.

**The Team**

Our client's funds and private equity team is run by a premier partner in the industry. The team advises on a range of funds and private equity transactions including financial services, fund investments for clients including sovereign wealth funds and asset managers.

The team comprises a number of partners, as well as a range of Senior Associates, Associates and graduates.

**The Role**

Our client now has an opportunity for an associate to join their private equity & funds team in Sydney. This role will see you have a range of responsibilities, including:

- Advising on financial services law for fund managers;
- Assisting with the establishment of funds and regulatory & licensing compliance;
- Drafting key fund documents;
- Drafting complex documents, relating to investments and fund establishment.

**Requirements**:
Due to an opening in the team, our client is seeking an experienced funds and private equity lawyer, with
- Excellent drafting and attention to detail;
- Demonstrated client facing experience, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships;
- The ability to work in a collaborative team environment;
- Willingness to get involved in business and professional development
