**Position Summary**:
As Storeperson / Delivery Driver, your primary function will be to pick and prepare customer orders for dispatch. It is an expectation that this work will be done in a diligent fashion, paying particular attention to your safety and that of all stakeholders, with accuracy and detail. This is High Risk Work and therefore requires you to hold and maintain a Licence To Perform High Risk Work in Classes LF - Forklift Truck and LO - Order Picker.

**Position Requirements**:
You must hold and maintain the below licences to be considered for this position.

LF - Forklift Truck

LO - Order Picker

Driver Licence in Class C

**Duties**:
As a Storeperson you will
- Actively participate in maintaining a safe workplace for all employees
- Perform pre-start checks and operator maintenance on warehouse machinery
- Accurately pick orders according to Picking Slip details
- Identify all items that are classed as Dangerous Goods and observe segregation and compatibility requirements
- Have orders double checked
- Pack orders in the optimal and most economically efficient manner based on quantity and distance to travel, in an effort to have them arrive in good order and condition
- Measure cubic dimensions, and weigh packaged orders and record on Picking Slip
- Label goods according to customer, destination, DG classes and carrier

As a Delivery Driver you will
- Actively participate in maintaining a safe workplace for all employees
- Ensure your presentation accurately represents Hanleys values
- Perform pre-start checks and operator maintenance on truck
- Sort Invoices into an optimised route
- Check orders to ensure they are correct and complete
- Load orders onto the ute / van following route order and observing load distribution and weights
- Secure all orders in accordance with 2018 NTC Restraint Guide
- Deliver goods to customer
- Check off orders with the customer to ensure they are complete and correct
- Have the customer sign the Proof of Delivery to accept delivery
- Complete the Run Sheet / Manifest
- Wash and clean the vehicle inside and out on a fortnightly basis (minimum)

**Current Hourly Rate**:
$29.70 (Full-time position) + Leave Loading & Superannuation

Pay: $29.70 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

- Delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)
