Our Training & Development arm of Windana provides training in areas such as, and not exclusively, Mental Health First Aid, Foundations in AOD, Applied Suicide Interventions Skills Training (ASIST) and Diversion and Education for Teenage Offenders in Understanding Road Safety (DETOURS).

**And this is where you come in **

Engaged at a casual capacity, the successful Trainer will deliver and facilitate engaging, interactive courses on ‘as needed basis' that address challenging behaviours and increase knowledge on AOD Foundations and Mental Health Fist Aid. Here's what a typical day would look in the life of a Trainer:

- Plan, prepare and deliver training courses to participants in the aforementioned programs.
- Delivery of the DETOURS program to young people aged 14-25 years of age
- Participate in the course design and execution
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and participation

**About you**

A level of flexibility is necessary for the undertaking of this role alongside a commitment to promoting inclusivity, empathy and understanding of the factors that lead to challenging behaviours.

Ability to mentor and guide young people and relevant Certification or experience in delivering AOD, Mental Health First Aid or similar programs is highly regarded.
