Studio Steel are a Sunshine Coast based manufacturing business specialising in steel fabrication, installation and industrial services. We are searching for a Site Boilermaker/Rigger to join our Brisbane install team as we continue our double-digit growth and expansion.
- **Secondly, let me tell you who we are searching for**:_

We are looking for a trade qualified boilermaker who can erect fabricated steel activities on commercial and industrial construction sites throughout SE QLD.

The key duties for this role include:
Represent our brand well You will be a key point of contact for our customers so we need a true professional who can problem solve and take ownership on a construction site.

Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and designs.

Cert III Engineering or Australian recognised Trade Certificate.

Current Rigging & Dogman License (desirable)

Experience in MIG, MMAW welding.

Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)

Ability to think on your feet, troubleshoot and adapt to various client sites and situations.

Ability to work in team environments, but work autonomously at times

Effective time management and strong communication skills

Perform fabrication and assembly of components in workshop and site environments.

Relevant experience in structural fabrication or fabrication in medium to heavy industry and site installation work (desirable)

Must be able to travel to various sites around SE QLD

The following competencies are required

Safety focused - this is our only non negotiable

Ability to perform all of the above key duties

Strong attention to detail - our game is one of millimetres

Excellent planning and problem solving skills

This role will be exclusively site based for projects largely across South East Queensland.

Night and weekend work may be required to meet construction schedules and penalty rates will apply

**Salary**: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
