**The Role**

Located in Reservoir (Victoria) in a newly refurbished factory, Mersen is a globally recognized expert in electrical power and advanced materials, this is a great opportunity to join a growing team in a great location.

Your main duties will be primarily split between programming CNC machines (Mills and Lathes) based on technical drawings AND operating machines to produce high quality finished products. In addition, ensuring the high quality of finished products by constantly checking for faults or defects and editing programs as needed.

This role would suit someone with proven CNC experience (3 years), with knowledge of Fanuc advantageous.

We’re open to a wide range of backgrounds however formal qualifications within engineering, trades or similar is highly desirable. Training will be provided on the job, as well as uniforms and a flexible working schedule which means you finish at 10:30am on a Friday.

Work hours: Full time, Mon - Thurs: 6:30am - 3:30pm, Friday 6:30am - 10:30am

Annual salary range is between $77,000-$80,000AUD _plus_ superannuation.

- Setting up and operating CNC machines
- Able to create and edit programs
- Ability to safely operate machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Able to work autonomously
- High attention to detail
- Able to ensure product specifications meet quality standards

**Skills & Experience**
- 3 years’ experience in similar position
- Fanuc experience highly desirable
- CAD CAM knowledge preferable
- Formal qualifications within engineering, trades or similar is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Team orientated
- Manual handling experience
- Able to lift up to 10 kgs.
