Trade Waiter

Spirit House Restaurant is looking for full-time Trade Waiters who want to be part of a great team working in a hatted restaurant in a stunning “tropical film-set" environment. Over the past 20 years we have become an iconic destination for Asian food lovers and have created an “oasis” for Asian food-lovers in Yandina on the Sunshine Coast. THE OPPORTUNITY: We have a core team in place already and would like to have you join us. We are a hugely popular restaurant and our hours are Tuesday-Sunday Lunch & Wednesday to Saturday Dinner. The good news is we are busy all the time so there is plenty of flexibility for shifts - in other words you're not just locked in to weekend work all the time. This is a great opportunity to work in a “Hatted” restaurant and deliver superior levels of customer service through your food and wine knowledge. ABOUT YOU: You are a professional waiter with at least 2 years of relevant experience and want to work for someone who respects your skills and can give you a supportive, fun environment to work in. You have a passion for wine or solid wine experience and are able to take our customers on a wine journey through our award-winning wine list. Ideally you have had experience in high-end Asian Cuisine or you have a good working knowledge of Asian flavours and ingredients. Oh yes, you will need a car... and the good news is there's plenty of FREE parking for you in the restaurant car parks. In Summary: This is a salaried position, the tips are good, the customers are great and the service is professional and we have great staff meals. We are all about providing fantastic food experiences for our customers and welcome anyone who thinks they can help us achieve that. Salary starts from $54,000 to $63,000 depending on your level of skill and experience.
