**About the position**
The Casual STEM Facilitator will be responsible for assisting in the development, promotion and delivery of programs in partnership with schools, government and businesses which lead to innovation, diversification and opportunities across the Muswellbrook Shire. Reporting to the Innovation Coordinator, these programs for students and the community will develop skills and networks for the jobs of the future, foster entrepreneurialism and support existing and new industries.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in developing and facilitating STEM and innovation programs
- Maintain STEM learning spaces and manage equipment and technology
- Deliver activities and events that support program outcomes and engage the community
- Support teacher professional development through STEM workshops
- Engage with schools and community groups to deliver meaningful STEM outcomes
- Promote program activities and successes through materials and social media

**About you**
- Degree in Teaching, Science Communication or related field, with experience developing and delivering STEM content
- Ability to transfer educational skills to a corporate environment
- Experience delivering innovative STEM curriculum
- Ability to develop, deliver and evaluate learning outcomes for diverse groups
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in diverse teams
- Planning, organisational and project management skills, including managing technology and equipment
**What we offer**
- Casual position with an hourly rate from $64.1154 to $69.3954 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) (depending on qualifications, skills and experience), plus 12% superannuation
