The Work Instruction Content Author will create and maintain clear, concise, and user-friendly work instructions to ensure accurate and compliant task execution. Collaborating with key stakeholders and SMEs across Sydney and Brisbane, this role supports operational excellence.
**Description**:
So, what’s the job?
- You'll create clear, step-by-step work instructions that align with processes, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- You’ll ensure our work instructions are user-friendly, consistently formatted, and tailored to skill levels.
- You’ll adhere to templates, branding, and Cover-More’s Process Architecture.
- You’ll work with collaboratively with our end users to test, refine, and maintain the work instructions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- You'll manage the development, review, approval, and publication of our work instructions with version control.
- You'll support training by integrating the work instructions into onboarding and developing quick guides or e-learning.
- You'll drive continuous improvement by enhancing processes, prioritizing customer outcomes, and incorporating feedback.
- You'll maintain confidentiality and ensure all communication upholds our Brand Promise.

And what are we looking for?
- You'll have 3+ years of experience in technical writing, business process mapping, or a related field, preferably in insurance or financial services.
- You'll be detail-oriented, able to convey complex information clearly, with an appreciation for user experience, layout, and design.
- You'll be proficient in tools like Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Visio, with experience in SharePoint or Confluence preferred.
- You'll excel in communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management across teams and locations.
- You'll have knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or BPM methodologies and strong organizational skills.
- You'll be skilled at setting priorities and fostering teamwork in a collaborative environment.
- You'll ideally hold a Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field.
