**About the role and where you will be working**:
The role of Admissions Coordinator is to act as the main point of contact for prospective residents and their significant others entering the facility by creating a warm, friendly environment.
You will be responsible for providing accurate information regarding the
admissions process and Southern Cross Care (WA) policy. You will be governed by legislative requirements and have knowledge of the facilities and their requirements.
This position will be based in our Central Office located in Rivervale.
**We’ll also be asking you to**:
- Ensuring occupancy targets are met and maintained
- Liaising with social workers and placement agents
- Client contract sigining
- Administrative duties as advised by manager
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and codes of practice
- Responsible for the timely compilation of all routine statistics as required by the organisation by compiling charts, spreadsheets and graphs from source
materials and calculations as requested.
- Work towards continuous improvement of services
- Exchange information, ideas, and suggestions for improvement of service.
- Actively liaise and cooperate with all facility personnel to facilitate admissions
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies and codes of practice.
**About you**:
You will have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and
communicate effectively across a range of stakeholders both verbally and in
writing. You will also acquire previous experience in an aged care environment in a busy multi-faceted role

- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills and the ability to
prioritise effectively and multi-task
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated understanding of the links between the values and mission of theorganisation and the facility service delivery
- Respects the dignity and privacy of clients and keeps confidential information
always secure
