Web Designer

Small relaxed company in the Musical / Audio sector / Entertainment sector.

Our company has been in business for over 20 years importing broader market, quality products for retailers. Tasks include packaging, print, website management, eBay store management, logos and other adhoc requirements.We are looking at enhancing our online presence and establishing a new e store, so
- A Strong understanding of building e-commerce sites both in B2B (reseller/wholesale) and B2C will be prefered

**Some technical knowledge would be a bonus, particularly with musical instruments and basic workings of equipment and electronic goods.**

**Primary tasks include**:

- Graphic design projects such as packaging design, catalogue design and website updates.
- eBay store management./ Shopify
- Other general creative and design tasks.
- design, maintenance and delivery of e-commerce websites and online stores
- Experience with Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager - desirable
- Possess excellent work ethics and commitment to a team environment

- Tafe/Uni Certitifcation
- Natural design and creative talent
- Proficient with Adobe CS Suite and Mac platform
- Organised, professional with a 'can do' attitude
- Ability to multitask and follow instructions precisely
- Understand and follow brief requirements
- Demonstrate great attention to detail
- Possess excellent work ethics and commitment to a team environment
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and autonomously
- Photography experience an advantage
- Technical knowledge also an advantage
- website HTML knowledge required
- A passion for music would be great
- Proficient grasp of the English language, both written and oral.
- **To be Successful**:

- Preferred Previous experience in ecommerce role: 3 years Digital Marketing Specialist in an e-commerce capacity.
- Proven track record with managing and optimising online traffic and advanced understanding of Google Analytics as a reporting tool
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices
- Experience with A/B website testing tools
- Ability to prioritise workload and multi-task
- Experience in implementing digital marketing initiatives that deliver ROI
- Experience working with Paid Search
- Experience working with Shopify or similar

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
