Dental Assistant

**DENTAL ASSISTANT**

We are looking for our next superstar dental nurse to join our dental family in Ivanhoe. This role is ideal for an individual who loves interacting with people and is highly customer service driven.

We offer all dental services from general hygiene and restorative to complex implant surgery and orthodontic treatment. **QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- Experienced dental assistant
- Professionalism, communication skills, keen attention to detail & customer service
- Solid computer skills (D4W dental software experience an advantage but not essential)

**TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Clinical chair-side assisting of all dental procedures & patient care
- Setting up & assisting complex oral surgery procedures & implantology
- Setting up & assisting orthodontic treatment of adults & children
- Tracking & compilation of patient pre-treatment records & lab work
- Sterilisation procedures, protocols & tracking systems
- Construct in house laboratory made appliances such as mouthguards, retainers & teeth whitening trays
- Taking in house OPG x-rays (if qualified)
- Delivery of patient post operative instructions following implant procedures
- Delivery of patient instructions upon orthodontic commencement
- Delivery of patient instructions on teeth whitening procedures

Pay: $23.58 - $35.57 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

**Experience**:

- Dental assistance: 1 year (preferred)
