**About the Role**

We are currently looking for caring, compassionate, dependable, and skilled individuals to provide in-home care to older adults and adults with disabilities. Our clients are some of the most vulnerable in the community so above all we are looking for people who can listen to them, make them feel safe, show understanding and empathy as well and provide the highest level of care with kindness and respect. Our Home Care team builds lasting relationships with our clients so that they may stay at home or get out into the community to do the things they enjoy.

Daily activities typically include:

- Companionship
- Meal preparation
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping
- Transportation
- Shopping assistance
- and much more

Qualifications:

- A Certificate III in Individual Support (aged care, home & community care, disability) or currently studying.
- National Police Certificate
- Current Senior First Aid & CPR
- Drivers Licence
- Current Manual Handling and Medication Certificates
- A roadworthy and registered vehicle
- Availability to do shift work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to demonstrate empathy with elderly residents.
- The ability and commitment to uphold high standards of work.
