What is the role?
PAC is seeking an empathetic and self-motivated Lifestyle Officer to join our Paddington facility. The Lifestyle Officer is responsible for creating, implementing and delivering holistic recreational programs for Consumers. Reporting to the Lifestyle Coordinator, these programs will be designed to improve the wellbeing and everyday lives of Consumers.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop person-centered recreational therapy and treatment plans to meet the needs and interests of Consumers.
- Monitor Consumer participation and progress in these programs and modify accordingly to facilitate rehabilitation and encourage integration into the residential community.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate progress to promote psychological and physical health.
- Observe and record progress in relevant documentation including care plans.
- Direct recreational activities which provide opportunities to enhance socialisation, express feelings and improve self-esteem.

**What we are looking for**:

- Are passionate and have a commitment for improving the lives of our residents
- Certificate IV Leisure and Health, Diversional Therapy or demonstrated experience.
- Experience in, or assisting with the development, facilitation, and evaluation of activity programs in an aged care environment.
- An excellent communicator with a passion to care for the elderly
- Comprehensive understanding of consumer engagement and person centred activity planning.
