**The Position**

You will be a driver for collections/deliveries operating out of our warehouse in Morningside. Shifts will be worked from Monday to Friday to provide, annual and sick leave coverage, and otherwise as required.

**Responsibilities**
- Collect and deliver produce as per instructions from the Warehouse Supervisor/State Operations Manager
- Ensure all requirements of the food safety legislation are abided by at all times
- Drive the SecondBite vehicle and carrying out collections including loading and unloading the vehicle and providing assistance in the warehouse as required
- Liaise with food donors to maximise the potential effectiveness of the program
- Adhere to all SecondBite OH&S policies and manual handling standards
- Ensure the vehicle is clean and maintained at all times

**Qualifications & Experience (Key Selection Criteria)**
- A current unrestricted Driver’s Licence (MINIMUM REQUIREMENT)
- A current MR Truck License (MINIMUM REQUIREMENT)
- A current Forklift Licence (Desirable)
- Experience in deliveries and food safety will be favourably regarded
- Empathetic approach to the issues surrounding nutritional poverty and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated commitment to high ethical standards
- Basic data entry skills
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Good customer service skills which can help develop positive relationships with donors

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $29.25 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Morningside, QLD 4170: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
