**About the Role**
An opportunity for a Test Automation Manager to join the Group Tech division at Bank of Queensland. In this role you will be responsible for governing, managing, coordinating testing automation, strategy, and operations across the Enterprise.

You will also:

- Provide governance for automated testing activities across the enterprise.
- Define, Build and Deliver the QA Test Automation Strategy and roadmap in alignment with the group QA strategy.
- Manage automation team in day-to-day project tasks.
- Coach Test Leads and Automation Engineers in quality practices and tools.
- Provide team leadership, performance reviews, and development plans of Automation Engineers.
- Monitor automation team test progress and report.
- Provide guidance and information to develop and maintain Automation frameworks that are fit for purpose.
- Implement continuous improvements to QA processes and activities based on defect root cause and learnings from past/similar projects.
- Identify risks & mitigation plans impacting automation delivery.
- Ensure Automation code follows development best practice for version control, structure, and maintainability.

**About you**
We are looking for an individual that has an understanding and experience in Testing automation methodologies. You will have an ability to develop, comprehend, interpret, and align with company policies and procedures. The following attributes will also help you to succeed in this role:

- Ability to create and maintain constructive, positive work relationships with all staff at varying levels.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with an ability to prioritise, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to influence stakeholders across divisions, collaborating for enterprise outcomes.
- Ability to work on own and as part of a team.
