Our client is a highly regarded company and one of the main players in Australia's Piling and Foundations Industries.

We are currently recruiting 2 Diesel Fitters / Plant mechanics to join their growing team. Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for the provision of safe, efficient and compliant diagnostic, maintenance and component replacements services to the Earthmoving Division’s customer base in both the workshop and field.

Fitter 1: based in the North Brisbane Yard full time.

Fitter 2: must be available to work FIFO. There may be some yard work for this position but predominantly will be away / site work.

**Responsibilities**
- Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical diagnosis
- Major and minor services
- Maintenance and component replacements
- Fabrication and new machine build as required
- Complete Service Reports
- Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field
- Dealing directly with Key Customers

**Skills & Experience**
- Trade qualifications as a Diesel / Plant Mechanic with extensive industry experience
- Piling Geotech plant experience - Not essential, but highly desired
- Heavy earth moving plant mechanics experience
- Strong hydraulics & electrics experience & understanding
- Hydraulic Hammers, Vibrators, Junttan hammers, BSP hammers, IHC hammers, excavators etc.
- Strong fault finding / diagnostics experience
- Able to read schematics with a high level of competency
- Good fitting skills and principles when disassembling and assembling.
- Must have a do it right first-time mind set.
- Flexibility to travel to customer sites and work over-time as required
- Ability to fault find and rectify hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical issues
- Experience with maintenance, diagnostic, commissioning and troubleshooting of Heavy Plant including Piling Rigs & Cranes
- A current driver’s license
- Forklift, W, T, R and Air conditioning ticket advantageous
- Basic Word and Excel abilities
- Commitment to maintain, and adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace
