**Role Description/Criteria**

We are looking for an energetic, creative leader with a passion for working in dialogue with others to make a positive difference in the lives of children.
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- a commitment to Catholic education;
- a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children;
- current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching;
- accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school or be working towards gaining this;
- evidence of working towards or attainment of academic qualifications additional to initial teacher education (Post graduate study in English an advantage);
- commitment to dialogue, teamwork and the skills to work collaboratively;
- a passion for working with children, dedicated to supporting their academic, emotional and spiritual growth;
- highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to relate positively with others;
- a commitment to their own personal, spiritual and professional growth.
