**About the role**:
The Production Supervisor plays a pivotal role in the delivery of Fleetwood Building Solution's many varied projects. To be successful in this role you must be able to lead by example and drive high performance across our production team, working with both FBS employees and sub-contractors, your role will be to work closely with the Manufacturing Manager and ensure the timely delivery of a range of projects. You must also be able to complete multiple tasks with varying levels of priority whilst ensuring projects are completed to high quality and within budget with effective use of available assests and resources.
- This position will be based out of our Smithfield facility in NSW._

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Supervising the build of allocated projects in the factory including reviewing design drawings before commencing production, organising sub-contractors and staff labour to meet the production schedule, liaising with procurement and the stores' supervisor to ensure availability of materials, and supervising works to ensure quality and on-time completion.
- Providing the Manufacturing Manager with regular updates regarding the production of projects in the factory, including progress, delays or issues, lack of materials etc.
- Detailed planning of new and upcoming projects in conjunction with the Project Manager, Scheduling Manager, Fabrication Supervisor, and Storeman and schedule them into the Production Schedule.
- Manage the day to day operations within your section of the factory, including materials handling, positioning of new projects and inventory of materials needed for production.
- Maintain Production schedules for all projects on the factory floor, ensuring that they are completed within the allocated timeframes and resources.
- Maintain current processes and implement improvement changes as required in conjunction with the Manufacturing Manager.
- A key responsibility of the role is the supervision of the build of all allocated projects to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Implementing the Quality Management Plan and continually improving its effectiveness.

**The**
**successful applicant will possess the following**:

- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role with supervision responsibilities
- Carpentry or relevant Trade Qualification or equivalent experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of building construction, building codes and Australian standards
- Ability to develop, mentor and motivate staff
- Skilled in defining, prioritising, organising and completing tasks to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Key focus on safety and manual handling
- Proficient in Microsoft Word package and an ERP system
- Organised, reliable and highly motivated
- Forklift license desired but not essential
- **Construction Induction White Card**:
