The TAE NSW Freight Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of the freight department. They will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and security regulations, delivering excellent customer service, and managing the operations of the freight department. The Freight Supervisor will work closely with the Freight Manager, Operations Manager and Branch Manager to ensure the smooth running of the department.

Key Responsibilities- Assist in the implementation and administration of all training programs, certification, and revalidation Encourage staff feedback and recommend changes to improve safety and efficiency- Provide performance feedback to the Freight Operations/Branch- Manager Manage AM and PM operations and ensure inbound/outbound movement of freight- Ensure compliance with Safety, Security, and OH&S Standards- Train, develop, and counsel operational staff Responsible for rostering and shift operational costs Maintain compliance with Auditable Standards and report on KPI's- Communicate with other divisions, suppliers, and customers- Continuously strive for improvement in operational standards and customer service

**Qualifications**:
- Experience in freight management and operations Knowledge of IATA DG regulations and other regulatory requirements- Strong leadership and communication skills- Ability to manage and train staff effectively- Proficient in safety and security compliance
