Our educators work and program according to the ‘Belonging, Being, Becoming’ Australian National Learning and Development Framework and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development framework. Every child’s ideas, knowledge, culture, abilities and interests form the foundation of our program, with input from you and educators. As educators, we aim to facilitate and extend your children’s learning and provide a kindergarten program that is meaningful, diverse, holistic, vibrant and child-centred. As professionals, we believe in continuous improvement through regular professional development as well as reflection and evaluation of our work.
We are currently recruiting for a passionate Certificate III educator for an ongoing, full - time position to join our team at Oakhill Children's Center. Should you be successful you will be working 40 hours per week and enjoy a monthly rostered day off
**What will you do?**
- Work collaboratively with your team to provide an appropriate developmental and enriching program for children which maximises opportunities for them to develop to their full potential
- Build and maintain positive and meaningful relationships with children, families, staff and the local community
- Be a motivated and driven Educator, who will actively contribute to the program, through detailed observations & documentation
- Build positive behaviour guidance strategies and provide spontaneous play-based learning experiences to extend on children's learning
- Contribute to a child safe environment ensuring standards are met on a daily basis
**Essential criteria for a Certificate III Educator**:
- A Certificate III in Early Childhood or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
- Have a sound knowledge of and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safety Standard
- Current Working with Children's Check
- Current Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Certificate III Educator
