Due to growth, WesTrac is currently seeking an **Area Manager **to join the Warehouse Logistics and Facilities division to manage the Hydraulic hose “Made to Order” and “Batch” areas area initially with responsibility expanded to include kitting in the future.
Reporting to the General Manager, Parts Operations WA, the **Area Manager** is accountable for overseeing the operational performance and financial outcomes of their allocated area/store operations, whilst providing supervision and leadership to the team members to ensure safety, quality and efficiency are of the highest standard resulting in exceptional customer and employee satisfaction and a profitable operation.

**Roster**:5:2 Monday - Friday
**To be successful the following is required**:
- Tertiary qualification in Manufacturing or Lean processes desirable, or significant demonstrated industry experience
- Previous experience with hydraulic hoses, in particularly Hose manufacturing and pressure testing
- Experience in managing large teams of workshop / warehousing hands-on people in a high demand production environment
- Highly developed commercial business acumen skills with the ability to successfully manage sales lead generation, expenses and budgets, data analysis and compile reports
- Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, as well as advanced communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal
- Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously, with excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines
