**Key Responsibilities**- Develop cost forecasts, estimates, and models for project planning.- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities.- Support tender evaluations, contract changes, and impact assessments.- Advise decision-makers on cost models aligned with Defence Capability Life Cycle (CLC).- Mentor staff and conduct peer reviews of cost estimations.- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure robust, transparent cost estimates.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications & Requirements**

**Education**: Advanced Diploma/Associate Degree in Finance Management

**Experience**: 3-5 years in statistics/statistical analysis; 1-3 years in key skill areas.

**Clearance Required**: NV1 (Negative Vetting Level 1)

**Essential Skills**:
- Budget Management, Cost Analysis/Estimating/Management/Modelling (Level 1 proficiency).

**Desirable Skills**:
- Stakeholder Engagement, Defence Acquisition/Capability Life Cycle, Financial/Project Cost Analysis.

**Additional Criteria**:
- Advanced Excel skills.- Familiarity with CASG 2.0, ERP, and DSR requirements.- Ability to access DPE/DSE systems.- Occasional travel (rare).
