Architectural Draftsperson

**Position Overview**: as an estimator at SSAS ARCHITECTURAL, you will play a pivotal role in our project life cycle, responsible for accurately assessing costs and preparing competitive bids and quotes for commercial window, doors, and aluminium cladding projects. Working closely with the sales team. You will provide detailed and comprehensive estimates also AutoCAD drafting.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree or diploma in construction management, diploma in Architectural drafting, related fields preferred or equivalent or trade.
- Experience in AutoCAD system and Sketch-Up 3D Modeling
- Proven experience as an estimator 5 to 10 years' experience in commercial construction industry with a focus on windows doors and aluminium cladding.
- Microsoft office (word, excel)
- Analyse drawings and specifications of new jobs to understand scope of work
- Organise work flows and ensure daily production targets are met
- Communication and negotiation ability
- Ability to work independently
- Drivers license
- Prepare quotes
- Prepare cost estimates including materials and takeoffs labour projections
- On site measuring

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
