Warehouse Storeperson

$55,000 plus superannuation, plus team bonus

**The Client**

Our client has multiple brands that sit under the group umbrella that offer industrial equipment, manufacturing, building & construction, and outdoor products. After a recent transformation, they are looking to hire a Warehouse Storeperson on a full-time, permanent basis, located at their Warehouse in Geebung, Queensland, working 7:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

**The Role**

Reporting into the Warehouse Manager, this Storeperson is responsible for ensuring that inventory moves seamlessly and economically through the company’s warehouse, achieved through accurate stock counts, organisation and reporting any inaccuracies or damage promptly to the Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities include:

- Processing incoming online orders through warehousing software
- Picking and packing orders as required
- Operation of forklift to assist warehouse staff, deliveries and pickups
- Receiving of inbound stock deliveries and assisting with stock replenishment and returns
- Participate in stocktakes and cycle counts
- Maintain the warehouse in an organised manner
- Accurate dispatch of goods from E-commerce orders
- Maintain accurate records of all stock movements in the company’s ERP system
- Meet daily KPIs and ensure that all assigned customer queries are answered
- Reporting to management
- Investigating problems to seek effective solutions for both warehouse operations and customer enquiries / complaints

**Skills & Experience**
- Proven experience within a similar warehousing role required
- Forklift licence is essential
- Previous experience using ERP / WMS / Inventory Management systems and Microsoft Office including Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Ability to build strong relationships with the wider team
- A history of punctuality and reliability
- Willing to learn and be challenged to improve
- Must be able to provide 2 reference checks upon request

Relevant qualifications such as Cert III in Warehousing and Storage, Diploma or similar will be viewed favourably.
