Gilroy Catholic College at Castle Hill is looking for a skilled, contemporary and passionate Learning Support Teacher to be part of our school community and enrich the lives of our students. This is a permanent full time position to commence Term 1 2026.

**Areas of Focus**:

- Encourage and support the Catholic culture, mission and religious ethos of Gilroy Catholic College
- Give personal witness and model Gospel values while actively supporting the College Mission, “We all strive to learn, achieve and progress as we walk in the light of Christ”
- Participate in liturgical and formation opportunities
- Assist the Leader of Learning Support in the process of developing personalised plans.
- Monitoring and supporting the development of Life Skills programs.
- Supporting numeracy and literacy programs.
- Working with CSPD in the transition of students with disabilities to the workplace (Post-school options).
- Case Managing students as directed by the Leader of Diversity and Teacher Development
- Working with the Leader of Learning Support in collecting and evaluating student information during the Year 7 Enrolment process in order to provide accurate information to support class placement and case management processes.
- Completing diagnostic testing of students as directed by the Leader of Learning Support
- Any other duties as requested by the Principal

**Qualifications and accreditations**:

- Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance
- Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree)
- Statements of Service
