**YOUR OPPORTUNITY**
A fantastic role has become available for a talented and self-driven professional to join our team as the** Product Manager **based out of** Macquarie Park NSW.**
The role will see you responsible for modification of existing products, presentation and formulation/sourcing of entirely new products that satisfies a newly defined customer want or market niche.
Decision making will come from analysing category data and giving support to development and delivery of category plans, ensuring right products are sourced, supplied and deliver the right margin for Blackwoods.
Your key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- The ability to identify and implement business opportunities with an entrepreneurial mindset and an innovative approach.
- Demonstrating familiarity of budgeting, margins, profits and loss, investments and operational expenditure liability
- A track record of converting Key Performance Indicators (KPIS) into workable plans to capitalise on or accelerate growth possibilities
- In order to influence business and product strategy, show that you can put your insights into practise and use the opinions of your partners and customers
- The developments of product portfolios, new business models and GTM strategies; the creation and integrations of new categories and services
- Ability to collaborate across teams, partners and departments to promote growth and change
- Analyse and evaluate the feasibility and relevance of proposed complex products and services
- Responsible for range development, including product life cycle management
- Supports the Management and delivery of the category plan
- Provides analytics to support insights for better business growth strategies
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of major suppliers who are delivering required levels of service in line with the overall supplier management strategy
- Work with suppliers to attain “innovative / marketing leading” products
- Work with suppliers to become a “market leader” through category and business strategy
To be successful, you will have:
- Tertiary/bachelor (required)
- Experience in product development, sourcing or category management in a B2B business or a major retailer
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience in product management, marketing strategy, business planning
- Meeting Quarterly and Annual Budgeted Revenue goals
- Management of a portfolio. Proven experience in the industrial B2B market
- Partner Control. Direct partnership interaction experience and a track record of producing growth/revenue
- Demonstrated capacity to create cohesive Go-To-Market plans
- Excellence in execution. Abilities in project management, budgeting, and cross-functional operations
- Develop ROI driven marketing program and execute B2B market
- Controlling Change. The capacity to handle uncertainty and quick change. an agile practitioner who practises testing, rapid iteration, and risk-taking
- Can demonstrate bringing organisation values to life and how they have been embedded into teams previously
- Ability to travel to branches/states where required
