**The Opportunity**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced individual to join the Libraries and Learning Team as an Engagement and Marketing Administration Officer.

Reporting to the Team Leader Literacy and Learning Programs, the role of Engagement and Marketing Administration Officer is key to delivering exceptional experiences to our community, by:

- Ensuring customers have a positive experience in our Library and Learning Hubs by delivering high quality customer service.
- Providing administrative support to design and deliver effective Libraries and Learning promotional materials, marketing initiatives and online engagement.
- Participating in regular evening and Saturday morning shifts

This position is based on a 35-hour week, including 1:4 Thursday evenings and 1:4 Saturday mornings. This position will be predominately based at the Melton Library and Learning Hub, though all Library staff work across our branches.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide central administrative support for the department including preparation of purchase orders, processing of invoices, creation of new suppliers, managing subscription payments, image permission forms, and record keeping processes.
- Support the Online Development and Marketing Officer to maintain marketing workflows, and in the development and delivery of relevant and current content for print and online marketing communications for the Libraries and Learning Team.
- Contribute to the design, delivery and distribution of online and print marketing collateral that adheres to relevant branding and style guidelines.
- Liaise with external service providers as required to support the design and delivery of marketing collateral.
- Participate in rostered library customer service shifts as required, ensuring customers have a positive experience characterised by active engagement.

**About you**

**_ To be successful in this role you will have the following:_**
- Post-secondary qualification in office administration, marketing, or library studies, together with relevant experience.
- Experience working in public libraries, or a customer focussed organisation.
- Current valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
- Must hold or be able to obtain an Employee Working with Children Check.
