We are currently looking for passionate **Care Workers** to join the team at **Bethanie Waters** Aged Care Home in Port Kennedy on a **casual basis**, working across mornings and afternoons. Bethanie Waters is a modern and welcoming 160 bed facility offering a secure area for local residents with dementia and associated conditions.

As a Care Worker, you will work closely with our residents to improve their quality of life by assisting with day to day activities, ensuring their safety and well-being is prioritised. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, and as such you will be skilled in building positive professional relationships with both residents and team members.

To be successful for this role, you will need to show evidence of **previous experience supporting people living with dementia** or similar additional skills assisting with memory support.

**About the Role**:

- Assess care plans, and ensure residents' needs are met
- Ensure services (including food, laundry, personal care, domestic and interest) are delivered in a timely and safe manner
- Ensure all personal care tasks (including toileting & showering) are delivered with dignity and respect
- Ensure residents' rooms and the facility is maintained to an appropriate standard

**About You**:

- Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) or equivalent
- Previous experience working in an aged care or hospital environment
- Expertise in supporting people living with dementia
- Problem solving and decision-making skills relevant to the aged and dementia care context
- Empathy and patience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well as a team, as well as independently
- A willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group
- Willingness to obtain any relevant vaccinations required
