**The Role**
As a National Maintenance Facility (NMF) Technician you will provide maintenance support for various secure communications equipment and ancillaries on behalf of our clients. This may include software upgrades, fault finding, maintenance/repair and compliance testing.

You will be accountable under routine direction to perform and achieve straightforward technical work within an integrated workforce and be accountable to understand and comply with relevant legislative frameworks, government decision making and Defence's Mission and policy requirements.

As a member of the NMF you will have access to flexible working hours and will receive comprehensive and on-going training that will ensure you master the technical skills required for the job.

The workplace environment requirements for this role include:

International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) is the United States regulation that controls the manufacture, sale and distribution of defence and space-related articles and services. The ITAR contains a list of “restricted” countries that are unable to access ITAR controlled information, and therefore we will need to know if an applicant holds dual citizenship to one of the restricted countries to ensure they meet the requirement to perform the role (and we do not breach any ITAR requirements).
