**Job Description: Barber at Richie's Barber**

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Barber to join our team at Richie's Barber, located in Newport. This is a casual role, offering 20-30 hours per week, with days varying week to week. We are looking for someone who can work with clients of all ages, though training can be provided if necessary.

**Job Duties**:

- Open and close the shop as needed
- Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring clients feel welcome and comfortable
- Clean and maintain the shop, including dusting, wiping down surfaces, and grooming equipment
- Sell haircare products and suggest appropriate recommendations to clients
- Record and edit videos of haircuts for social media content
- Manage appointment scheduling and handle walk-ins efficiently
- Keep up-to-date with the latest haircutting trends and techniques
- Assist with any in-shop promotions or events
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

**What We Are Looking For**:

- A bubbly, energetic personality with strong communication skills
- Experience with social media and creating content (preferred but not required)
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong attention to detail, especially in haircutting and grooming
- A quick learner who can adapt to changes easily

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
