**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The Counselling & Career Development Officer or Disability & Access Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive assistance in the coordination and performance of general administrative, transactions, referral, enquiries and service support activities to facilitate effective and efficient service delivery and operations.

You have impeccable communication skills, are analytical, organised and a natural problem solver. You enjoy building trusting relationships, collaborating with your team and taking initiative.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Certificate IV in a relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with a diverse range of clients / customers in a professional and courteous manner in a services delivery environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and demonstrated ability to learn new systems.
- Willingness and ability to travel as per business requirements.
- Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description.

**WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE**

This position offers a base salary range of $70,254 - $77,546 p.a plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

The recruitment process will include a range of comparative assessments and role-based skills tests. All interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams.

This is a child-related position. A Working with Children Check is a prerequisite for anyone in child
- related work. It involves a national criminal history check and review of findings of workplace misconduct.

For ongoing positions in the NSW Public Sector, you need to be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

For temporary positions, you will require a visa that gives you permission to work in Australia.
