We are looking for a hands-on Data Consultant to join our Digital & Data team supporting the delivery of data and analytics projects across a broad range of industries.

Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.
- Advisory: Engage, communicate, and work collaboratively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, in a multidisciplinary environment, to design practical solutions
- Delivery: Build and deploy analytics solutions for our clients ranging from visualisations and data processing pipelines to advanced machine learning algorithms
- Innovation: Carry out research and proof of concept work such as developing prototypes or investigating targeted topics in-depth to unlock value for our clients and support Aurecon’s eminence and innovation

We value that each of our team members brings something different to Aurecon. We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life.

As well as experience in a similar role:

- Tertiary qualifications in computer science, engineering, or a related field (desirable)
- Strong background in a scientific discipline (STEM)
- Knowledge and interest in programming and data manipulation using tools such as Power BI, Python, SQL
- Comfort with ambiguity and complex open-ended problems
- High level of energy with an enthusiastic “can do” attitude
- High level organisational skills, attention to detail and able to prioritise and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- Ability and commitment to collaborate with staff on data analysis and other tasks and communicate results to both technical and non-technical audience
