Are you a proactive and organised professional with a passion for supporting executive leadership and contributing to environmental and community outcomes? We’re looking for an **Environment & Place Support Officer** to provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Director and management team within the Environment and Place Directorate.

**About the Role**

As the Environment & Place Support Officer, you will:

- Deliver confidential and professional executive support.
- Coordinate diaries, meetings, travel, and events.
- Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, and records.
- Assist with research, project support, and stakeholder engagement.
- Support Council meetings, workshops, and community requests.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the Office of the CEO assisting with peak periods and leave backfill of the Executive Support team when required.

**What You’ll Bring**
- Proven experience supporting senior executives in a dynamic environment.
- Strong administrative and digital skills (Microsoft Office, corporate systems).
- Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Experience working in a political environment and with sensitive and confidential information.
- Able to work some out-of-hours to assist with workshops and Council meetings.
- Flexibility to work across locations and conditions is essential.
- Experience in local government or similar sector is highly desirable.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration are an advantage.

This position is offered as a permanent, full-time basis classified at Level 4 under the City of Burnside Administration Employees Enterprise Agreement 2023.
