**The role**:
As a BI Support Analyst, you will:
- Deliver effective and efficient support to business users and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Utilize your technical knowledge and diagnostic skills to uphold system availability in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Oversee day-to-day business-as-usual (BAU) tasks, monitor automated report health, and provide cost-effective solutions to enhance business procedures.
**What the role involves**:
- Respond promptly and effectively to issues and requests related to reporting tools (JORS, TM1, COGNOS), maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for reporting system issues, investigating root causes, and providing resolutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve system process flows, performance, and technical efficiencies.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC, methodologies, and Change Management standards.
- Handle development tasks including analysis, functional design, and execution of test plans.
**Who are we looking for?**
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or Business Intelligence Systems.
- 2-3 years of experience in IT service management (ITIL preferred).
- Previous experience in a support analyst role with strong knowledge of IBM DB2, Oracle 11g database, IBM TM1, SAP Business Objects, and IBM COGNOS BI.
- Proficiency in Shell scripting, PL/SQL, DB2 scripting, and data warehousing principles.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Automic Batch Scheduler, and Microsoft Windows Server is desirable.
