**Your New Role**

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Risk Strategy & Enablement, the Enterprise Risk Lead (Lead) is a flexible second line role with much diversity. The Lead can expect to be regularly assigned to various Group Risk departments, as needed, as a temporarily back fill for Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) participating in a risk transformation project. This can include work from the Emergent Risk, Risk Advisory, Financial Crime, Privacy & Resiliency, Enterprise Risk Monitoring and Group Governance departments.

The successful applicant will have hands on risk management experience within financial services, including policy reviews & traceability, policy development, risk and controls assessments, controls testing, risk monitoring and assurance, risk reporting and incident management.

Some of your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Execute key Line 2 business-as-usual activities and other initiatives within the Group Risk departments as required. Such activities may include:

- Risk policy/standard reviews, including seeking input from stakeholders
- Risk reporting including for committees
- Conducting and reviewing controls testing
- Supporting Group Risk monitoring activities
- Conducting Group Risk assessments on various topics
- Providing enablement support to GR colleagues
- Conducting and reviewing obligation assessments
- GRC activities (reviewing action plans, findings etc)
- Present and lead workshops, review risk-related documents, and influence stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships across Line 1, Line 2 and Line 3 areas across the Fund

**What You’ll Need**
- Extensive experience in risk management with a proven track-record of success
- Excellent understanding of risk and controls management practices including an understanding of relevant standards
- Hands on experience in the completion of risk management activities including risk assessments, control assessments, incident management, risk appetite, risk monitoring, risk reporting and frameworks, control assurance activities and/or Internal Auditing experience.
- Regulated industry experience, ideally in financial services
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to priorities and manage the range of tasks required of this role.
- Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Innovative, creative and curious with a strong growth mindsetA positive attitude that can adapt to various activities and stakeholders as required
