**Your new company**
Work with one of the largest Local Governments in Australia, a leading employer on the Sunshine Coast Region is seeking a GIS Specialist within their Transport Infrastructure Management Branch. Based in Caloundra, on a temporary basis for 3 months with the possibility of extending to a 6-month assignment, based in Caloundra.

**Your new role**
This position plays a lead role in driving the data management program as it relates to:

- Improved integration of geospatial data capturing.
- Data analysis and report development to facilitate infrastructure and transport planning.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience in GIS and data management
- Proficient in the use of ESRI ARC-GIS
- Strong research, analytical problem solving and evaluation skills with the capacity to examine complex problems and develop strategies for their resolution.
