**The Melbourne Clinic is Australia’s largest private mental health service providing 203 inpatient beds, standalone Day Program centre, an Outreach Program and consulting suites across three locations. We deliver Patient Centred Care; health care that is respectful of, and responsive to, the preferences, needs and values of patients. Our programs and care are based on the recovery model.

Reporting to the National Manager Mental Health, you will be responsible for the business performance of The Melbourne Clinic through:

- Championing Patient-Centred Care, fostering a culture that prioritises exceptional experiences for patients, staff, VMOs and partners
- Driving strategic partnerships, cultivating relationships with VMOs, primary care, government and public hospital leaders to enhance service delivery, integration and reputation
- Building high performing teams, lead and develop adaptive, values-driven teams with a strong internal talent pipeline with strong engagement
- Demonstrating a business savvy approach with an entrepreneurial and innovators mindset
- Leading quality and service excellence by overseeing accreditation, quality improvement and experience outcomes
- Delivering operational results, taking accountability for financial performance, service outcomes and key KPIs.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Tertiary qualifications in either business, nursing or allied health
- Significant experience in a senior health care operational leadership position
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding business results, with proven experience in operating a private mental health service
- A track record of developing growth focused initiatives
- Strong commercial acumen
- Demonstrated track record in developing strong and productive relationships with doctors
- Demonstrated ability to lead a positive culture and develop teams
- Ability to lead strategic development, planning, implementation and evaluation
- Experience in leading complex negotiations and business development initiatives
- Commitment to quality health care delivery and an understanding of ACHS/National Standards requirements
