Weir Minerals are looking for a Production Planner to join our team at Coolum.

The Production Planner is responsible for aligning the Dewatering Sales and Operations plan within SAP so business targets are achieved. This position ensures all production within SAP is completed in an efficient, accurate and timely manner to meet the business schedule.

Responsibilities of the role
- Manage the Production Activity Control (PAC) document and ensure it is up to date and accurate and is the source of truth for all production activity across the Dewatering Business.
- Participate and lead when required the weekly PAC Meeting.
- Maintain and keep up to date all SAP Production Works Orders (PWO) ensuring date accuracy and alignment to the PAC document. This also includes managing exception messages and working closely with procurement team
- Ensure an effective process exists to communicate any changes to the plan across the relevant departments of the Dewatering business.
- Participate and contribute to the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across all value streams.
- Coordinate and assist with Lean/Weir Production System improvements and programs for the Dewatering business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This includes Sales, Engineering, Operations, Projects and Indonesia Team.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience working within a similar role
- Experience working with SAP
- Experience using Excel (desirable)
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
