**Job description**

**The college is currently looking for a VIT Registered Quranic Studies Teacher.**

**The successful applicant will commence in Term 1, 2021**

**Graduate Teachers are encouraged to apply.**

Skills required:

- A passion for teaching and student learning
- Excellent organisational and behavioural management skills
- Excellent communication skills and confidence when dealing with difficult situations.
- Have the content knowledge and pedagogical practice to meet the diverse needs of all students
- Demonstrate an understanding of appropriate behaviours when engaging with children.
- Indicate their experience, qualifications, qualities and attributes expected from them.

The successful applicant must have:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education
- Advanced Quranic Arabic grammar qualifications
- Ijaza in Quran recitation
- VIT registration is essential
- Previous teaching experience in classes

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
