**About the Role**

This is a Full-Time, Permanent position at 80 per fortnight within the Pharmacy Department. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of this new role. You will work collaboratively with the pharmacists working in the intensive care areas to manage the stock control and manufacture high-cost medications.

Classification for this position will be TH10 (Salary is $65,754 per annum + superannuation + salary packaging)

**What you’ll achieve**:

- Manage of waste minimisation project, including preparing reports relation to cost savings.
- Manufacturing of medications for PICU and NICU
- Work independently on technical tasks

**Your skills and experience**
- Experience as a Hospital Pharmacy Technician
- Experience with manufacturing sterile and non-sterile products
- Familiarity with Merlin® and Epic® computer systems

**About the Department**

We are a team of around 70 staff including pharmacists, technicians, and administrators. Our supportive and collaborative teams include Outpatients, Children’s Cancer Centre, Clinical Pharmacy, Clinical trials, and Medicines Information, HiTH and Sterile Services and the Pharmacy Business Unit.
