**Description**

The Role:
We have a lunch-time Diploma Qualified educator roles available for the right person:

- permanent part time (13.5 hours per week)
- 30am-4pm shift Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, with option to work casually on other days
- **Working with an Agency or looking for some regular shifts each week**? Join us casually and work when requested within our beautiful team
- **Wanting more stability?** Work 3 permanent part time shifts and then casually for us (at time and a quarter) when it works for you - this is the best of both worlds
- **Looking for School hours?** Work to 4pm and then go and collect the kids from school

About You:

- You are Passionate about children and child safety
- Have at least 2 years’ experience, preferably in a sessional kinder
- You are highly motivated and proactively contribute to the program and individual learning plans to ensure all children’s needs are being met
- You are a flexible, open, trustworthy team player
- You are respectful and inclusive
- You have a sound understanding of the current regulations, standards, frameworks (VEYLDF & NQF)
- Work in a cooperative, flexible and professional manner with children, parents, staff, other professionals and the committee.
- Be able to think, plan and problem solve
- Thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment

Remuneration:
All remuneration and conditions are as per the **VECTEA 2020** enterprise agreement. We operate under the 10 week leave model, so our staff are paid for but do not work on the school holidays.
- Level 2.1 - level 2.3 (depending on experience) $28.01 per hour

**Qualifications**

Essential requirements
- Hold an approved Diploma of Children’s Services
- Hold a current Working with Children Check (or equivalent).
- In accordance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations and service policies, hold and maintain an approved:

- first aid qualification o emergency asthma management qualification o management of anaphylaxis qualification o Child protection qualification
- Key Selection Criteria
- You can demonstrate your values align with ours
- You have at least 2 years’ experience, preferably in a sessional kinder
- You can demonstrate a high level of skill contributing to the program and recording observations
- You are able to connect and build strong connections with children and your co-workers
